Twisted words of a prophet . . . . . . .
“The
pandemic has faced humankind with two sets of choices. The first: totalitarian
surveillance or citizen empowerment. The second: nationalist isolation or
global solidarity. To deal with the pandemic, a well-informed population is
much more powerful than a policed, ignorant one. Global cooperation is the only
effective measure against it Let’s hope the coronavirus helps humankind to
realize the acute danger posed by global disunity” (quote from YN Harari)
The Harari fallacy here is the equivocations by analogy, as follows: 1st A or B and 2nd C or D, wherein A is to C as B is to D (analogy). So, totalitarian surveillance includes nationalist isolation, in Harari’s estimation. Well, if a nation allows infiltration through its borders and that is not policed, it is looking for trouble. The utter freedom to do any blasted thing people want perpetuates chaos. Hence citizen empowerment really does not match global solidarity because that would restrict freedoms. Harari is screwed-up in the head. First, he twists words in a specially spun fabric of colorful (rainbow colors), then he tells lies through his logical fallacies. Global disunity is inevitable, humxns have been trying to be united for thousands of years, but all there ever is; as a result, it bellies war and disunity. Harari needs to stop spinning lies and give up on fantasies. Maybe, global solidarity and citizen empowerment can be created in a video game, but not in the real world. Wake-up.
