LIES (Gnostic culture)

Alright, I have been around those who are influencing young people for the majority of my life.  Young adults do not need to be assaulted by words in environments where they are informed about what life is about.  The places where young adults find themselves today are all too familiar to them.  Even when they are faced with the cold realities of a “culture of death,” there is a way in which they have been told lies all their lives long. In early life, they were introduced to the idea that they are not their bodies but somehow exist distinct from their bodies.   There is a kind of disdain for the body or a low view of it. Often the body is seen as a site for art; other times, it is understood as a vehicle for the essence of what we are, which is contrary to the lived bodily experience per some twisted reassigning of it. Some understand their bodies to be fluffies; they believe that inwardly they are some kind of stuffed animals.  This distortedly low view of the body, which gives license to changing it, reaches its height when one comes to believe they are something that they aren’t and which causes a significant decision about what their body is to become, by some form of manipulation of the body. In fact, it is taught that one owns one’s body and can make it anything desired; hence the phrase “my body, my choice,” which is fraught with problems of its own. If one owns their own body as an object separate from who they are then they have the right to do with as they please, meaning here opting for medical procedures. Think what you want right now; medical procedures such as putting things in the body or taking the life out of it are issues that divide. The last two years were supposed to be years that unify us.  Right!!! There have been situations where the government has required interruptions in the body, and laws have been passed that force people to introduce untested things into themselves (their bodies).  Tattoos, abortions, vaccines, ear gages, nose rings, transitions, and other alterations and changes are all types of ways we treat our bodies, rather how treat ourselves.
