We Will Not Cave

Certain TYPES of PEOPLE (humans?) are a minority on this earth.. Why the h__ are they being portrayed as THE majority.  I do not get it, THEY are so pitiful and harmless that they are given voice in LIBRARIES. GOD knows they need assistance in having a voice, they are so persecuted.  The real persecution has begun and needs to be addressed. Michel Foucault can shed much light on this topic, as well as favs like Walt Whitman, as they have always considered so intelligent, even when they use long tangential sentences (oooops, like this one) to make a single point. PLEASE help everyone realize that there needs to be a voice for ALL. It, oppression, is soooo real that there SEEMS to be an uptick in the types of a person I can be.   I identify as a WRITER and a ScHoLaR, hardy har har, who wants to be a scholar in this politically driven CLIMATE anyways, oh no!

One must be careful to make the observation and distinction between the both the narrow and the broad use of the term "woke"  In the narrow and appropriate sense it is used to designate the individual process that a person of color coming to realize the way society oppresses them and the extent to which that oppression can be addressed in their individuals life.   In A New History of Redemption Dr Gerald McDermott one finds an excellent book on Jonathan Edwards and a beautiful exposition of and walk through the steps and stages of theological considerations concerning the hope of the Messiah Jesus of Nazareth. McDermott explores the work that Jesus did in redeeming the world of its ails through the life of the church and throughout history.   In the volune gets a refame of the significance of Edwards thought on redemption, while exploring so many topics and texts. McDermott demonstrates his vast and excellent knowledge of the theology of Edwards.   I enjoyed the section concerning the Babylonian empiric domination of God’s chosen people. McDermott clearly explains the history of redemption for the Christian and the Hebrew children.
