We Will Not Cave

Just checking in.  When we are move I am certain that we will find a place where God can use us, like never  before.  Praise be to the Jesus of the empty tomb.   Not only the cross but the empty tomb. Jesus is victorious and we are too.  We must do our part or get left in the dust. 

  English Standard Version translates I John 5:16 as: 16  If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life—to those who commit sins that do not lead to death.  There is sin that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for that.  Concerning the last clause in I John 5:16, the ending clause. περὶ  ἐκείνης  = he, she, it, or that οὐ  περὶ  ἐκείνης  λέγω  ἵνα  ἐρωτήσῃ  word order is complicated in this clause (as is such with Koine Greek), but I see it this way, John is referring to the particular sin (ἐκείνης “that”) When one implores of God, it is for God to be rid of it i.e. “that.“ For that matter the “ἵνα” has the meaning “that,”as well.  Therefore John is saying do not pray for “the sin which leads to death.”  Sins that lead to death are abortion, genocide, murder, etc . . . need not be prayed for, for those who commit such sins are t...
